Bellevue, WA – Chris Randall, President and CEO of National Specialty Underwriters, announced today that Ben Newman has been promoted to Vice President, Division Manager of National Specialty Underwriters, Inc.

“It is always a pleasure to promote from within, and Ben is very deserving,” said Mr. Randall. “Ben is a graduate from the University of Georgia. He began working in the Insurance industry in 1991. He worked on the company side as a commercial underwriter and as a Client Executive with a major retail broker, before coming to NSU as a Sales Executive in May 2005. He has proven himself an effective producer and team leader, and will now take on the challenge of Division leadership.”

“Ben will be based in our Atlanta branch office and report directly to me,” Mr. Randall added. “Healthcare is one of four major Divisions at NSU and a key to our success. They offer professional liability solutions for physicians and medical facilities. The Healthcare Sales Executives, in Atlanta, Chicago, and Bellevue, will report to Ben.”
