National Specialty Underwriters, Inc. (NSU), unveiled a new insurance program this week, SELECT IMAGING, designed especially for freestanding medical imaging facilities in the United States.

Sr. Vice President of NSU Healthcare, Leslie Miller, announced that the program, available exclusively through NSU, provides Claims Made Professional Liability coverage with policy limits up to $1 million for each claim, and $3 million in the aggregate. Additional coverage is available, including General Liability, Employee Benefits Liability, Sexual Abuse and Molestation (with separate limits), and Non-Owned Auto.

The product will be distributed through retail agents and brokers nationwide, with availability in all fifty states. It was designed specifically with the needs of the Imaging industry, with features including an “incident trigger”, written consent –to-settle, defense for punitive damages, defense costs outside the indemnity limits, and more.
