National Specialty Underwriters, Inc. (NSU) announced today that they have entered into an exclusive agreement with Tudor Insurance Company to act as the program administrator for SelectImaging, a new insurance program targeting malpractice coverage for Diagnostic Imaging Centers.

NSU’s Healthcare division, a specialist in the wholesale of medical professional liability, will offer SelectImaging to independent agents and brokers nationwide.  The program provides Medical Professional and General Liability coverage for freestanding, non-hospital based diagnostic imaging centers, engaged in any of the following processes: MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound, Mammography, CT Scanner, Nuclear Medicine, Vascular, PET Scan. 

By focusing on this niche market, NSU will be able to offer the Imaging community a stable, competitively priced insurance product with a variety of choices when it comes to deductible and limits.  Coverages options will include Sexual Molestation and/or Abuse, Employee Benefit Liability, TRIA (Terrorism Risk Insurance Act of 2002), and Non-Owned Auto Liability. A very attractive minimum earned premium requirement applies.
