Atlanta, Georgia - Chris Randall, President and CEO of National Specialty Underwriters, Inc. (NSU), announced the opening of a new branch of NSU in Atlanta, Georgia, today. NSU is a program administrator and wholesaler specializing in insurance for the hospitality and healthcare industries, as well as, arranging layered placements for a variety of catastrophic property and casualty excess risks. NSU is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington with other branch offices in Boca Raton, Florida, Poughkeepsie, New York, Chicago, Illinois, and now, Atlanta, Georgia.

“The Atlanta office will initially focus on medical professional liability for the healthcare industry, particularly allied healthcare facilities and non-standard physicians,” said Mr. Randall. “We are pleased to announce the opening, effective immediately, of our new location:

We are also pleased to welcome Chip Wienges, David Haliburton, and Jancey Smith to NSU. Mr. Wienges will focus on production of physician business, Mr. Haliburton on medical facilities, and Ms. Smith will support both in her role as Account Administrator. We will be placing a producer focused on our Hospitality specialty in this office shortly.”
