VENTURA, Calif. - June 19, 2003 - Certus Claims Administration, LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda S. Bowen as the Managing Director of Certus Claims. Ms. Bowen comes to Certus Claims from Inswork Solutions where she served as managing consultant. Prior to launching Inswork, Ms. Bowen spent 20 years in the insurance industry where she developed technical and strategic litigation expertise. During her insurance tenure, Ms. Bowen had oversight of all aspects of several branch and regional claim operations, including the Western Zone Director's & Officer's Specialty Claim unit of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies and for CAMICO Mutual Insurance Company, the second largest insurer of Certified Public Accountants in the U.S.
A proven, effective business manager and leader, Ms. Bowen’s extensive management experience includes responsibility for case liability and damage evaluations, trial and settlement strategies, risk reduction strategies, post-trial analyses, marketing, training and staff development. Ms. Bowen has authored several articles in professional trade publications. She has also served as a speaker and facilitator at various trade organization events.

Ms. Bowen obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida. She also attended the Executive Management Program at Columbia University and studied at the John Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University. She has lived in California since 1989. Ms. Bowen began her new role June 16th, 2003.
